Video Recording
Lounge and Variety entertainers apply by submitting a video recording with supplemental material.
All bands, classical ensembles, solo entertainers and variety acts apply by submitting the following:
- Video recording
- Repertoire list
- Biographies of all individuals involved
- Contact information
- Photos
Video recording – For bands, classical ensembles and solo entertainers this recording should include 10-12 cover songs in various styles. No original music is acceptable. With these songs, you should show that you can entertain in many different styles at a high level, that your band is fun to watch and that you can interact with the crowd. Live performances are preferred over studio recordings. Songs should be short versions of 1 to 2 minutes only.
Video guidelines – The video recordings must not contain any contact information such as phone numbers, website URLs or email addresses. Video files shoud be uploaded to our server (contact us for more information on how to do this). The file size shouldn’t be more than 250MB. If necessary, cut up the video so there’s one song per clip. We accept most of the popular file formats but we strongly prefer H.264 with AAC Audio in a .mp4 container. Please send us the highest quality video possible.
The repertoire list should be emailed to us in PDF format, categorized by style of music. This list is very important as it determines whether you have the right material for these types of jobs. This list should be no shorter than 300 popular songs in as many styles as possible. Do not include any contact information such as email, phone, address, or URLs in this file.
Biographies should include contact information and previous experience.
Photos – For bands, we prefer to receive a group photo rather than photos of each individual. Make sure that photos are of high quality.
